YC - Apply for X25

If Irish founders are going to be great, they need to put themselves in places that attract great founders. At Baseline we believe more Irish founders need to compete internationally for funding, customers, market share, mind share etc. There are lots of opinions and hot takes out there about YC, but we think it's still one of the best places on the planet to compress the time it takes to build something out of nothing.

YC applications [apply here] for Spring 2025 (X25) close on 11th Feb at 8pm Pacific. If you're a founder in Ireland and have already, or are thinking about applying (just do it!), this afternoon session is for you. As this is an office hours format, bring all your questions. We'll be joined by Cameron Yarbrough, co-founder Torch (W18), and Meji Abidoye, co-founder of Abundant (F24), along with a few other YC alumni.

We'll talk through things like:

• the interview

• what to expect from your time in YC

• how to make the most of it

• fundraising before, during, after

• network building

• and a load more

Even if you're not planning on applying for this batch, come along and learn from other founders.
