Christmas Party

A Christmas party hosted by Baseline and Friends for all founders in the Irish ecosystem.

'Twas the night before Christmas in Startup Town Square,
Where founders were gathering, free from their cares;
The pitch decks were stored in the cloud with despair,
While hopes of next funding hung thick in the air;

The founders all met at the local tech hub,
Some fresh from success, others needing a rub;
Jane's startup had launched, while Bob's dream just died,
And Sarah's AI bot had gone rogue and replied;

When up on the stage there arose such a din,
A founder was sharing their latest big win!
"Our Series A closed!" came the joyous decree,
While others raised glasses: "That could have been me!"

But spirits were lifting as stories were shared,
For each had been there, and each founder cared;
They laughed at their failures and toasted their gains,
United in knowing they'd do it again;

So here's to the founders, both funded and broke,
Who gather each Christmas to share in the joke;
That building a startup brings tears and delight,
"Happy Christmas to all, and to all a good fight!"
